Trimbakeshwar Temple is located in the town of Trimbak in Nashik District of Maharashtra,  India. It is the center of twelve Jyotirlingaas of Lord Shiva. This holy temple is built by Shri Peshwa Nanasaheb between 1755 to 1786 AD. It is also known as black stone temple as it is built out of pure basalt (volcano lava).

An ancient temple built in the Indo-Aryan style. It is believed that the Shivlingam is emerged naturally in this temple. Godavari river originates in this place. The temple lies in the foothill of Bramhagiri mountain.
