The Beauty of life-size Wall Art at Marathali Bridge: Two years ago, BruhatBengaluruMahanagarPalike (BBMP) initiated the project in collaboration with Bengaluru government to showcase Bengaluru's essence through big hand-painted wall art on street walls, bridges, outside educational organisations, government offices etc. A local group of painters belonging to 'Murugan Arts' (originally based in Chennai) was hired to execute the majestic hand-painted compositions. This archive presents a collection of the most prominent historic buildings, activities, flora and fauna of the city on the walls of one of the flyovers in the central part of Bengaluru city. The splendour in the massive appeal of forms, richness of colours and the identity of special places and moments of Bengaluru's history, culture and traditional activities creates a rich experiential interaction between the viewer's curiosity and the maker's aesthetics.
