    Tools and raw materials used for Thangka art are procured and processed naturally, Colors used are extracted from natural minerals and vegetables. Colors are brought from Delhi and painting brushes are made using yak’s hair, following are the list of tools used:

    • Wooden Plank: It is used as a base for drawing.

    • Natural Color: It is used for coloring.

    • Drawing Sheet: It is used for drawing the designs and motifs.

    • Pen: It is used for tracing the design.

    • Paint Brush: It is used for painting the color.

    • Syringe: It is used for applying the outline.
