A special publication, "IDC-Decade of Design Experience", was however, brought out to commemorate the 10th year of its existence. This publication received an overwhelming response in India and abroad, and also helped to establish a different identity for IDC’s programme. The worst case scenario for any educational institution would be a period of stagnation. To be aware of new developments in technology and other sciences, as well as to propose new concepts in design education methodology that will eventually bring design culture closer to our way of life. IDC is continuously engaged in promoting design by holding seminars, workshops, and consultations, which has resulted in growing awareness among the industries in the public and private sectors. The fourth edition of IDC output was published in July 1981. The editorial board included Prof. S. Nadkarni and K. Munshi, and Girish Agarkar designed and layout.
