Chandamama was started in Telugu by B. Nagi Reddy and Chakrapani. Chandamama was a classic Indian monthly magazine for children. It is very famous for its illustrations. It was published as a long-running mythological/magical story that ran for years. The editor of this magazine was Kodavatiganti Kutumba Rao.

Adivi Baapiraju (1895–1952) was an Indian polymath, who was a novelist in Telugu language, playwright, painter, art director, and anti-colonial nationalist known for his works in Telugu theater, and cinema.[1][2] He is known for his literary works such as Gonaganna Reddy, Narayana Rao, and Himabindu.

Sandesh

Sandesh is a children's magazine in Bengali and was founded by Satyajit Ray’s grandfather, Upendra Kishore Raychaudhury, in 1913. The cover pages and illustrations of this magazine were the finest examples of graphic art. The name Sandesh is to imply the nature of the magazine, which was informative and entertaining, as Sandesh in Bengali means both news and a type of sweet. Upendrakishore edited it till his death in 1915, when his illustrious son Sukumar took over.
