Fight Art and Augumented Reality: As part of my art and communication practice, I created a series of sculptures and paintings that explored technology interventions in Art using creatively distorted QR codes. When viewed through a mobile device the sculptures/paintings brought up a parallel layer of communication on the phone in the form of custom animations, songs, web searches or text that related to the physical work in unexpected ways. The works that point (2011-2014) were among the first in the Art world globally, to use this type of augmented reality approach. They recieved extensive coverage in India and internationally. The series was first showcased at the India Art Fair, recieving over 2000 visitors in 3 days. My research was funded by Religare Arts and Devi Arts Collective, through a series of Artist-in-residency programs lasting 8 months.

BANDIT: Part rebel- part underground brave, impulsive, colourful and honest, this is what we stands for. For over two years we have done an in-depth research about the material. Its strength, weaknesses, lamination properties, UV protection, tear strength, amongst many others. Post which the designs were made, remade and made again, all to get the perfect cohesion between manufacturing, design and the material. The bags were then tested with professionals, with school children, and with woman, to understand how they use it.
