Design of Indian Rupee Symbol: The design philosophy of the symbol is derived from the Devanagari script, a traditional script deeply rooted in our Indian culture. The symbol seamlessly integrates the LAtin script which is widely used around the world. The symbol denotes Devanagiri letter form 'Ra' and partly Roman capital letter 'R' (without the vertical stem). The symbol represents our tri colour flag flying high at the top. It also represents the arithmetic sign 'equal to' to denote stable and balanced economy. Logo Design for IIT, Hyderabad: The design phylosophy of the logo is based on the two key words 'Inventions and Innovations', the foundation and vision of IIT Hyderabad. It is depicted using two i's with common dot above them. These letters emanate outwards on either direction signifying expansion and growth of that knowledge. This reflects the core values of the institute where it fosters and facilitates in expanding one's intellectual ability, creativity, research and scientific discoveries.
