Situated on the banks of river Narmada, Bhedaghat is a beautiful small town surrounded by majestic white marble rocks. Approximately 20kms away from Jabalpur city, it is famous for its Dhuadhaar falls, white marbel rocks and 10th century Chausath Yogini temple. The site offers one of the greatest breathtaking views of great Narmada River falling from the height of 105ft and rushing with full fury through magnificent white marble rock hills creating a deep dent and huge gorge resulting in the formation of a natural and geographical phenomenon seen nowhere else in the world. Bhedaghat, with its grand waterfall amongst the marble rocks could soon find its place in the list of UNESCO's world heritage sights.
