Dhela aur patta is a series of graphics done using just two elements - circle and a leaf. Dhela is the hindi word for a lump of mud which is depicted by the circle, whereas Patta is hindi word for leaf. The elements are named after the Indian folk tale - Dhela aur Patta. This is a simple tale of friedship in which they help each other during adverse situations. During a wind storm Dhela sits on patta so that he is not blown away by the strong winds and similarly Patta covers the Dhela during rains so that he does not get wet. The illustations also use the negative spaces created by the placement of these elements to depict some of the features. These illustrations depicts people from different cultures and religions of India.
