This workshop on ‘Composition with Hotmetal Typefaces’ was conducted by Professor Mahendra C. Patel and Professor Ranjana Dani as part of the workshops being organised during the Typography Day 2011 conference at NID, Ahemedabad on the 5th of March 2011. The worshop had two sessions – the first to compose typographic exploration of the name ‘ Typography day’ and the second session to use the letterpress types as stamps to create type variations.
