Artist: Puneeth Hegde, IDC, IIT Bombay Technique: Hatching Medium: Ink on Paper These are sketches which depict Jain temple details like pillar, column, plinth, parapet, water spout, keerthi mukha and temple shikhara. Lakkundi is a small village on the way to Hampi (Hospet) from Hubli in Gadag District of Karnataka. All the temples in Lakkundi are made up of green schist and are richly decorated on the outer walls and entrances. One can see the typical of the south-Indian style of architecture in shikhara, an in-between-style type, the parapet and the artistic division of the wall with pilasters.
