Modak is a popular Maharashtrian sweet that appeals to people of all ages. Recipes of modak differes cook to cook and cste to caste. Commonly the covering of modak is prepared by wheat flour and rice flour and stuffing is of rich dry fruits, jaggery and fresh coconut.
