The Art Science Museum at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore showcased the world premiere of Van Gogh Alive – the Exhibition, bringing to life the work of Vincent Van Gogh in a unique fusion of art and audio-visual technology.
To quote from the museum’s write-up: “The dynamic display immerses visitors in Van Gogh's work as a production of movement and light unfolds across the inside of a distinctively designed gallery interior. Rather than merely observing static pieces of art, visitors are encouraged to explore the space and discover new viewing angles and ever-changing perspectives of this giant moving canvas.
Accompanied by a beautiful musical score and educational text, the exhibition aims to impart an inimitable experience of Van Gogh's work during his most prolific period of painting - 1880 to 1890”.
