Coconut is one of the most useful plant and provides numerous products which are commonly used in households. Palm leaf fronds are the material which are available naturally. It’s being used and products are been made since times. It is one of the most widely used trees on the world. Coconut palms are used for various purposes that rely on nearly every part of the species. The large, wide leaves are useful in making Great Roofs. Roofs made out of these huge leaves will last for 5-10 years depending upon the weather conditions. Creating a roof out of Palm fronds are not expensive with the abundance of trees in the area.
Since ancient times, Palm Fronds have served as traditional festive decorations. Once the fronds turn brown the product is used for fencing. Many other Products are made using Palm fronds like decorative screens, baskets, brooms, hats, windbreaks, cooking skewers, kindling arrows, shades and beach mats. Most importantly they do provide the best shade spot in the deserts and on the beach.
