We don't see life as illogical if it doesn’t evolve with a purpose. We are certain about very few things, two of them being that we are alive and that we will die one day, but is there any ultimate meaning to life beyond that? or does all meaning and purpose has to be derived?
Usually from birth, humans are always told what is to be done by their parents. We learn to chase happiness and avoid pain. Once they become adults, the meanings of what is right and wrong change drastically. We feel incomplete and therefore keep chasing things. But, even after winning what we wanted, the happiness is short-lived and we soon realise that we aren’t satisfied.
Is then, there a way to reach a state where we are truly satisfied and do not want anything anymore? How does a person find their way towards that and be sure of it? If they do, would it then become the purpose of their life?
In this project, I am trying to look at human life and behaviour from the philosophical, spiritual, biological and religious perspectives and trying to make sense of what “The Purpose of Life” could be and if there is one then how should one go about achieving it?
