This project aims at designing a CNG fuel dispenser for improved user convenience. Considering there is a lot of demand for CNG fueling specially in auto rickshaws hence we can see long queues in mostly all CNG stations and this is the new identity of the CNG stations. CNG is different from petrol dispenser. So far no attention in this direction has been given. Today there are lots of advances in technologies in automobile design and this is not reflected in the CNG dispenser. Hence this project was undertaken to design the Current CNG dispenser with new interface.

The design process involved the understanding of user requirements and the final concept variations through scale models. The new CNG dispenser was designed by improving the functional and user requirement (users are operators, consumers and the company owner).
The final concept was tested with the users on the 1:1 scale Rig model. Rig model studies gave new directions in the line of user interface. The final product has new features like maximum reach to the vehicle. The nozzle rests and each of them provided with a digital pressure gauge for easy access for the operator. Flat multi‐utility display unit provides zero angel of visibility for the consumer.
