Warping
The colored silk yarn is first reeled to the circular shaped wooden machine. End of the threads from the reel are stretched and tied to opposite pole. Breakages in the yarn are checked and then knotted. A cotton thread is laced into the warp as it helps to trace the entangled silk threads. After examining all the breakages, the warp is reeled to the warp beam. The warping is carried out in shade at room temperature, so that the color of the silk yarn would not be sun-bleached.
