The Desert sand colour is a light and very weakly saturated reddish yellow colour. It can also be considered as a deep tone of beige. Different tones of ochre yellow and dark yellows can also be seen in the shadows.
The green colour comes from the trees and other plants in the forest. It is the colour of nature. The green colour is common in nature, many plants are green because of a complex chemical known as chlorophyll which is involved in photosynthesis.
The reason behind the red colour is iron oxide. The iron-rich minerals in the sand have broken down into very small particles and have left the grains red. It's a rust effect.
The water appears to be colourless but the pure water has a slight blue colour that becomes a deeper blue as the thickness of the blue sample increases. The longer wavelengths of red are absorbed by the water and scatter the blue which can be seen by our eyes.
