IIT Guwahati (IITG) Bus Services:
IIT Guwahati is located in north-east of India. River Brahmaputra separates IITG (in the north) from rest of the city (in the south). As a result it offers a free bus service for faculty, non-academic staff and students to travel into the city of Guwahati, to an area called Panbazar. The bus service runs to and fro from morning 7:00 am from IITG to Panbazar, while the last bus returns from Panbazar at 8:15 pm. The buses are crowded on Saturdays as it is the official non-working day for the Institute and are comparatively less crowded on Sundays when the city is closed.

Task Assigned to Students:
Redesign existing IITG bus timetable so that it can be easily understood and used by a diverse target audience (faculty, non-academic staff, their families and students).
