    In this techno savvy, fast moving world, all the activities which a kid does with computer or internet are solitary and seldom inspiring for interaction with others. This is against the matter of fact that they rarely learn in isolation.

    Web browser for kids is quite easy to come by these days. These are the new evolution of parental control on the internet, offering protection from inappropriate content and activity on the web. Though these browsers offers visually pleasing interface for kids in comparison to traditional browsers, the need for an interactive application still remains.

    Hence, an attempt has been made to conceptualize a browser which gives a single platform for these activities, exploring new ways of interaction through sharing experiences and solution to the issues such as difficulty in navigation, saving and retrieving the data, help and other things through web browser for kids.

    The project 'Web Browser for Kids' – deals with the exploration of an adaptive Web browser, for the kids between the age group 8 ‐ 12, which help children grow up with learning and entertainment. The focus is on the kids who already have started using computer/ internet on a basic or intermediate level. The concern for the issues like child capabilities, characteristics, activities, psychology, interests, interaction have been made while designing the browser.

    The final solution is an "edutaining" (education + entertainment) companion which;
    - Helps the kids to learn through interaction,
    - Motivate them to share knowledge, experiences and emotions with the peer group,
    - And, also give them opportunity to bring out their creativity.

    It not only gives children an opportunity to learn through sharing but is also useful for parents in controlling and managing kid's usage of internet. The browser responds relatively to the environment and grows with the kid.
