Veena is a string instruments which is practiced from several years. Veena is one of the most popular classical instruments of South India, which is basically made in Thanjavur from where it is marketed to different parts of the world.

The musical instruments of Thanjavur have a long history. Different types of Veenas are made as per the market choice. People are specialized for doing/ carpenting/ making different parts of the Veena. Detailing is done very carefully by expert artisans/craftsman and minimum three days are required to complete one Veena.

 The products are manufactured by the dimensions of heritage value. The cost of the products depends on the complexity of the designs/decoration carved. Artisans also play the Veena and ensure that the product has no damage before selling. It is played by both men and women in India. Manufacturer also tries to bring new design to the product according to the customers demand and the new trend.
