The skilled artisans of Kundapura have their own identity for their skill and creativity. Artisans have undergone training provided by an NGO called ‘Namma Bhoomi’ in order to come up with new creative ideas and implement them. In earlier days, the artisans were using the traditional potter’s wheel to make pots and other utensils. But the present generation of artisans started using electric potter’s wheels to increase productivity.
