The tools that are required for woodcarving are;

A set of chisels – used to carve and give depths to the wooden board.

Hammer – used in chiseling out the wood.

Pencils & Pens –used to draw the reference lines to carve.

Papers – on which drawings are usually done and is cut along the outline.

Scissors –used to cut papers.

Knife –used to cut tricky drawings drawn on paper.

Scale – used to measure the length of the wood.

Straight gouges – used to mark outlines before chipping wood.

Wood – teak wood and wood of jackfruit are used.

Wood Polish – used to give quality look.
