Mukul Goyal is a Fellow of Royal Society of Arts, London and an alumnus of Domus Academy, Milan; National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad; and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Drawing strength and inner energy from such a rich and diverse fileds of learning experiences, it is not surprising that Mukul did not want to follow someone else’s trail, rather he believed in making his own.
Driven by the desire to transcend mediocrity in terms of designing, the designer turned to craft and the engineer in him veered to explore newer possibilities. He is amongst the professional product designers who has moved on to the domain of Design and Enterprise. The designer has evolved his own line of life style products that he manufactures and sells under the brand name ‘Mukul Goyal’ with a distinct style and a second line of Home furnishing fixtures and fitments under the brand name ‘Tattva’.
Goyal developed a set of tools for ICI paints (Akzo Nobel) for their Dulux Brand of Wall Paints requiring 2 tone texture finishes, which stands apart in the market and does not essentially require a painter to execute them.
The designer designed trophies for the Anand Bazar Patrika, FICCI, Rotary International, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of India, Apollo Tyres and the likes and has also designed quirky products for the brand ‘Happily Unmarried’.
Currently, Goyal has his installations in ITC Royal Gardenia Hotel, Bengaluru and other hospitality sectors.
