Bamboo in India is a material mainly known for small crafts and construction materials. As it is being used for traditional crafts and construction purposes in many places in India for a very long time, but it is very restricted to small handicrafts, scaffolding, ladders and the construction of temporary houses. Unlike other countries, where it is being used for many modern applications.

Bamboo is very Asian and has great potential to utilize it for various wide modern applications and utilize it to a greater extent while understanding the unique properties of bamboo and its importance. Bamboo comes under grass family and is one of the fastest growing in nature, which makes it an ecologically sound resource i.e. heavy harvesting has virtually no impact on the environment. It is eco-sustainable and the more use of it will make us less dependent on wood, which would be a great positive step towards utilizing the natural resources humbly and at the same time giving back to nature!

Here I am making a Lounge bamboo chair using bamboo slivers, which aims to mainly fit at Airports, but can be used in any indoor space as per the choice, as made up of natural material which is a Wow! Element.
