In this growing world with advancements in technologies, everyday new technologies are being invented and implemented in day-to-day life products. Furniture is a widely used product which we can see in every house, office and other man-made space in different forms, usage, size and function. Thus there’s always an opportunity for something new to be explored. Complaint Mechanism is a technology which is not very new but is somewhat unexplored with its possible uses with furniture. There is significant scope for this topic to be explored to develop efficient furniture, integrating it with compliant mechanisms. Compliant mechanisms can be of various shapes and sizes. We can play with the scale to come up with both joinery optimization as well as form explorations.
Objective of the Project
