Once the user group was finalized, initial concepts were developed. Initially availability of technology was not considered as barrier. High tech, wearable product concepts were developed considering that in near future i.e. 5 to 8 years from now such technology will be easily available.
Considering the target user group it was observed that at this age girls and boys are very proud to be what they are, especially about their sex. Girls like to use feminine products and boys like masculine products. Hence, some concepts were generated for a specific sex. From the production point of view, unisex product is a better option. Other option could be a product adoptable for both, with minor changes.
