The project explores the various issues that people face while using trimmers and clippers to cut their hair on their own. Although beard trimming and hair cutting can be considered as similar activities and use similar devices, users prefer going to a hair cutting salon to have a basic haircut too, and predictably because (a.) we cannot see all around our head, and (b.) because we cannot maneuver the trimmer all around the head efficiently.

The project aims at redesigning the trimmer kit to assist users to cut their hair on their own. The project deals with conducting user studies and task analysis in its initial stages to understand the need for the product feature and pain points associated with the activity. Later stage involves the design part to generate concepts that will help in having a basic haircut at home.
