The project explores the various issues people face while usage of solar cookstoves in an urban setting. The project started to find a solution for the LPG availability in rural areas but transformed into a consumer product because of the travel restrictions during the covid-19 pandemic.

The project deals with the problems faced when using a solar powered stove and tries to solve them with the existing engineering solutions. The Design and engineering solutions are all based on the test and findings that were brought in the master’s Student report by Prasad Kulkarni. All the technical solutions which require expertise in electrical knowledge are taken from the said report.

The projects also wander around the different techniques and nuances the user follows to fulfil a task and how the result/product is the amalgamation of all those ideas and findings.
