In this era of consumerism gaining its peak, the human race is following a path where people are surrounded by materials with questionable existence. Unconsciously, most of them are the outcome of fast-growing industrialization. Slow living eliminates the nonessentials from our life, freeing up time so that we can be conscious about practices that are sustainable.
In this project, I intend to demonstrate the concept of ‘slow living’ and its relevance in my country, India. This project is about how I can make consumers aware of the slow approaches in the lifestyle which will provide a space to think about consuming products which can redefine the concept of sophistication.
Here, I am proposing a magazine which will act as a space for slow living in the context of Indian practices. As a Communication Designer, my aim is to:
1) create an Identity Design for the magazine and
2) exemplify the Cover Story for the Issue.
