This course targets to inform the audience about the basics of Design for Sustainability, its origin and evolution over the decades, the different approaches to Design for Sustainability and its contextual applicability.

2. Dimensions of Sustainability
3. Evolution of the concept of Sustainability
4. Design for Sustainability - Engineering Design Criteria and Guidelines
Target Audience
This basic course is suitable for Product Designers, Exhibition Designers, Engineers, Architects and Planners, teaching faculty in academic schools of Design, Architecture and Engineering.
