Escaped in the Jungle was released by Indrajal Comics on 1988. It was published as #717th story.

The cover designs in Indrajal Comics were significant as they featured three distinct styles. These styles included a small logo with a child and a magic lamp, a thick horizontal section with the Phantom's portrait, and a larger horizontal section with the Phantom and the word "COMICS" prominently displayed. The cover artwork for the first 50 or so issues of Indrajal Comics was done by B.Govind, with the back cover featuring a pin-up poster. His artwork became very popular and even said to have matched the artwork on the covers of international phantom publications such as Gold key or Frew.
