Detailed Description

This project explores the idea of self-expression as it evolves through time and space, using the art movement of Impressionism as a central framework. It examines how artists responded to changing social, cultural, and environmental contexts by moving away from rigid realism toward more personal and moment-based interpretations of reality. Through the study of Impressionist works, the project highlights the shift in artistic intent—from depicting exact forms to capturing light, atmosphere, movement, and subjective experience. By situating Impressionism within its historical context, the project demonstrates how art becomes a medium for expressing individual perception while simultaneously reflecting the spirit of its time. The study emphasizes the role of visual language in communicating emotion, temporality, and spatial experience, thereby illustrating how artistic movements serve as markers of changing human sensibilities.
