Detailed Description

"The Junk Trap" is an engaging animated short film that aims to inform and entertain audiences by shedding light on the harmful effects of junk food consumption and the ease with which addiction to unhealthy eating can develop. The story follows a junk food–addicted protagonist drawn into a world of vibrant colors, tempting textures, and irresistible designs that symbolize the seductive nature of processed foods. Through visual metaphors such as packaging, nostalgia, social influence, and emotional triggers, the film illustrates how junk food manipulates human senses and behavior. As the addiction deepens, the narrative reveals the physical and emotional toll it takes on the body, depicted through body morphism. Ultimately, "The Junk Trap" serves as a creative reflection on modern eating habits, encouraging awareness and positive behavioural change toward healthier living.
