The IDC Toy Design Workshop held in 1983 at IIT Bombay was a significant event in the history of the Industrial Design Centre. This workshop was designed to encourage creativity and innovation among students, focussing on the design and development of toys that were not only entertaining but also educational and safe for children. The main goal of the workshop was to inspire students to think creatively about toy design. And to combine playfulness with educational value, ensuring that toys were not only fun but also contributed to children's development.
