Children of the Balwadi: The 'Children of the Balwadi' book is one of the studio's most ambitious projects. It is a 368 page book that documents the "Balwadi" education system given to children in Mumbai. Balwadi education is free education given to children from economically backward sections of society in India. UMS created interest by using the bright and exciting illustrations from the childrens own art work. Culture Cards: Culture cards is an educational card game about the various cultures, customms and practices, religious beliefs and rituals of the various peoples in India. It is an ambitious project featuring more than 100 educational cards with hand drawn illustrations. The illustrations have been simplified to basic circular and geometric forms. Scriptwriting: This print piece was created for scriptwriting workshop conducted by the British council for scriptwriters in Indian cinema. The piece is packed in a slipcase and uses a visual illusion device. When the piece is inserted into its slipcase one can read the word 'Script', but when it is taken out of its case it morphs into an abstract typographical composition of Indian scripts. this is achieved by an effective use of visual perception principle of the "gestalt law" of good continuation. This shows the rich diversity of the various forms of cinema and languages in India. Red Bull Music Tour Bus: Designed in vintage style the Red Bull Music Tour Bus is a travelling performance venue that's transforms into a stage on top. The exterior features a extended truck like nose, metal Red bull logo shield, aluminium fluted strips and a classic red and blue paint job. The interiors are all custom made leather and wood. Red Bull Tour Bus is the swag-a-delic gig machine that travels across country spreading the joy of awesome music.
