The Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) offers a vibrant environment for students and researchers in design. Since its inception in 1969, IDC has led India's design research and education initiatives. In order to encourage students to investigate and combine a variety of topics, including product design, communication design, interface design, animation, mobility, and vehicle design, IDC supports an interdisciplinary approach to design education. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art labs, studios, and workshops. These facilities provide students with the tools and technologies required to turn their design ideas into reality.
