Last but not least the inevitable process of making toran is ‘assembling’ all parts together which occur at vendor’s place. The process starts by pasting printed lotus at the centre top of bamboo frame accompanied with two printed peacocks at both sides. After that artisans glue the decorated idol of lord Ganesha at the centre of toran and on top of that they fix a small umbrella to provide an appearance of a shrine. Subsequently they sew parrots made out of paper at the both ends of toran as well as paste printed paper wings and tails. Continued to this they hang decorated paper coconuts; according to the requirements of customers they modify paper coconuts with beads and stones. As a final point they decorate the toran with flowers made out of papers and other decorative objects to make it aesthetically more beautiful.
