Nishma Pandit and Balakrishna Mahajan form a formidable couple who are the Founder members of this successful design studio. When I asked how it all began, Bala, as he is fondly known, spontaneously replied “It was Nishma, who started it all”. The twinkle in his smiling face, expressed the complementing strength that this couple bring to their professional work. Today, they have the reputation of working for leading multi-national clients across the globe.
Industrial Designers from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, they form the core team and are supported by Engineers and Graphic Designers from reputed institutes. Though they are based in Pune, but work for clients from across the globe. Over the years, they have developed a close network of associates from the domains of Electronics Design, Sourcing, Rapid Prototyping and Fabrication and draw upon their services when needed on their projects. Although not averse to adapting digital technologies to speed the design process they continue to believe that creativity and a commonsense approach and listening to the user are irreplaceable to their work.
