26% of the Indian visually impaired population (20 million) are children who will be contributing members of society in the future.
While cognitive development is seen to develop faster in sighted children compared to visually disabled children as per research, cognitive skills and social skills are better developed by engaging in games and social activities. Which helps children increase their thinking, reasoning and socializing skills.
Engaging in fun activities that let them compete or compare with their peers helps grow their confidence and self-esteem.
This design project dedicates itself to helping the visually impaired children develop their reasoning, logic, attention and thinking skills through the medium of interactive toy designing.
