A. The paper is folded diagonally and cut in halves. Cutting Paper – For normal kite the size of the paper is 20:30 and for “Cheel” kite it is 27 and a half.
B. Patterns are made on the kite by cutting and pasting various colored shaped papers. These patterns define the type of kite. I.e. Chandedar, Ankhedar etc.
C. A bamboo stick is pasted in the center of the Kite that connects two diagonally opposite corners of the kite. Another bamboo stick is bent and pasted over the center stick. This stick too connects the diagonally opposite corners.
E. To strengthen the kite, thread is pasted on the four sides of the kite.
F. After pasting the bamboo sticks the tailpiece is pasted at the bottom and small square shaped coloured papers are stuck on the corners to prevent the bamboo from coming off.
