• Varied Shaped Sticks: It is used as tool to carve the shapes as per the idol to be made.
• Plywood: It is used as a base for making the clay to roll forms.
• Hay: It is used to make the required base structure of the idols.
• Thin Ropes: It is used to hold the hay together for the required shapes and sizes.
• Sticks: It is used as a base to make the idols.
• Bamboo Sticks: It is used as the bottom base in making of the idols.
• Rice Husk: It is used to mix with clay to make it stiffer.
• Clay (from local and Ganga): It is used for the base and the final touch ups of making the Ganesha Idol.
• Water Colours: It is used to colour the Ganesha Idol as per its forms.
• Moulds: It is generally used to make jewellery, chains etc. for the Ganesha Idols by the craftsmen.
• Plastic Covers: It is used to store the clay in moist conditions.
• Tarpaulin: It is used as a protection from sunlight and rain by the craftsmen.
• Twine: It is placed in between for the making of chains/ jewellery for Ganesha.
• Water: It is used to keep the clay in moist conditions for better making of the clay objects.
• Cotton Cloth: It is used to cure the idol to avoid breakages during drying.
