    Erstwhile Logos in Calligraphy

    • Printer-friendly version

The archived logos celebrates the various self-expressions of Calligraphic masters of the Indian sub-continent. Calligraphy (from Greek κάλλος kallos "beauty" + γραφή graphẽ "writing") – is primarily the visual art of writing. The various styles of the calligraphic hand skill presented in this archive envisage simplicity, harmony, beauty and manual resonance with which the letterforms sing and dance in different rhythms; re-translate a unique and distinct identification of “Diversity in India” viewed with the lens of this visual art of writing
