Tools and raw materials that are used to wooden idol making:
• Wood: It is the main raw material used for making wooden idols.
• Hand Saw: This tool is used for cutting the wooden logs.
• Hack Saw: Wooden logs are further cut into required smaller wooden pieces.
• Hammer: Hammer is used for delivering a blow on the wooden pieces to break the excess wood.
• Chisels: Chisels are used for shaping the wood.
• Compass: Compass is used for inscribing perfect arc or circles.
• Scale: It is used for measuring the wooden piece.
• Pencil: Pencil is used to mark the proportions on the wooden pieces.
• Sand Paper: Sand paper is used for smoothening the final wooden product.
• Polish: Polish liquid is used on the final product.
