About the Project

The project on 'Product Form Evolution' aims to represent the evolution of product forms through history by breaking them down into its fundamental design elements.

The selected objects are shown with variations in their forms depending on the designer through the use of lines, shapes, volumes and materials in its construction.

For this, as a sample of demonstration, three designed objects, i.e., clocks, table lamps and kettles were chosen.

These objects are shown through history as belonging to different Art Movements -Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

At present, there are 12 different clocks classified into 3 categories of Art Movements.

These can be interactively explored by means of videos and images.
