We started studio ABD in 2008 in a small space in Whitefield suburb of Bangalore. The work environment is extremely important to productivity and happiness. So we’ve created a beautiful office space in the outskirts of Bangalore in Karnataka. A very green and charming place which has a spa, café, design stores and our office. We also opened our design store in Lake View Farm in March 2010 to showcase our collections.”

Our vision is to draw inspiration from India and to build a portfolio with products which showcase the design vocabulary of India. We certainly want to be able to showcase our products internationally and develop a strong distinct Indian identity, like the Scandinavian design. We are on a journey to discover the same, but we will get there. It is our philosophy and we live by it.  Like Yoga and Bollywood, we believe Indian Design has a unique language and identity, which will be accepted internationally.
