Hanging on to Hope
Approach to the Project:
A fictional story - which is based on the facts.
This is a sensitive subject. Thus to relate to it and understand it, might be difficult for certain category of audience. As factual style of narration was too dry for this subject, hence fictional style of narration was approached by the narrator.
The effort has been made by the narrator to write a fictional story, illustrate the story and then finally designing a story book, in order to communicate the subject effectively and sensitively.

The story has some serious series of events which take place in the protagonist’s life. But then the illustrations shouldn’t be a obstacle in the story. Thus, it was decided to keep illustrations wherever necessary to get feel of the actual environment and the characters while reading the story.

The Story:
This is the year 2007, when the climate of the whole world is changing, Globalization is at its peak, and technology is getting better day by day. At the same time, thousands of Indian farmers are being neglected by the ever growing world around them, due to which they are falling in the trap of Suicides!
