The project aims to explore the usage patterns of private vehicles by people and then suggest contextually-relevant solutions to their needs. The current automobile market is unfavorably skewed towards bigger offerings whereas the population in Indian cities is increasing and the space in cities for infrastructure decreasing. This is the key motivation to explore a compact solution that can not only serve the functional desires of the car buyers but also provide aspirational qualities reflecting their personalities to make an overall attractive package.
Throughout the project, users have been consulted at various stages to get a sense of their desires from a personal vehicle. Innovative use of packaging and features enable the design to have multiple configurations such as single riding mode, dual riding mode and heavy luggage mode. The concept was then realized through CAD modeling and rendered to present a realistic visualization of the solution.
