We started out with the project brief to find creative, innovative, out-of-the-box solutions for a Post-Covid’19 environment and turning this into a business enterprise. We did initial brainstorming to find a starting point for our project. We did some preliminary user interviews to find out what problems other people faced, and what they looked forward to the most after Covid. From there we narrowed it down to three problems - Home Services, Restaurants, and Public Spaces. We ranked them on various factors and chose to focus on the food Sector
We did a thorough brainstorming session to identify the problems in the food sector and realized the growing sector of food delivery and takeout and with the increased need of travel after the pandemic to socialize and for mental and physical health and from the data about the number of people who uses cars to commute to work and institutes we focused on the issue of messy and uncomfortable eating environment in the car to create a solution to make it better.
The ideation process lasted three weeks with research and user study going along with it. We received valuable feedback from our professors and industry experts to improve our product to come with an optimized and final solution.
We focussed on bringing the solution as the packaging of the food the user buys as takeout and which can be opened to form a shape which sits perfectly and comfortably on the laps of the user with anthropometrically perfect measurements which provides enough eating space to eat without a mess in vehicles.
