IDC News 19 (August 1998) highlights the diverse academic, cultural, and creative activities taking place at IDC IIT Bombay. The issue covers student achievements, lectures and workshops conducted by IDC faculty at national conferences and institutions, and traditional celebrations, such as Ganpathi Chathurdasi at IDC. It introduces new faculty members, including Ms. Ritu Varuni and Mr. Praveen Nahar, whose work focused on bamboo crafts, sustainable product development, and ecological design.
